DÉCO OFF

DÉCO OFF

Bonjour!

EKD Senior Designers Janelle Kando and Chelsea Wyke hopped the pond to explore everything Déco Off and the beautiful city of Paris has to offer! From showrooms, to galleries, to shops - they left no fabric, furniture, lighting (or baked good) unexplored. Below is a recap of some of their favorite finds!

Design | Thierry Lemaire

We toured renowned interior designer Thierry Lemaire’s gallery. Thierry has a vast portfolio of luxury residences, including President Macron’s Elysée Palace. His gallery showcases their custom furniture collection beautifully upholstered in Toyine Sellers textiles. Truly extraordinary!

Fabrics | Inata Alpaca

This showroom pop-up at Pl. Saint-Sulpice was stunning! The vendor has cozy and unique throws, pillows, and even furniture all upholstered in their luxurious alpaca fabrics!

Atmosphere | CoCo Paris

Heading to Paris? Make sure to stop at CoCo Paris for yummy bites, drinks, and breathtaking design. The domed ceiling and rich fabrics made this one of our favorite places to dine at!

Lighting | Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert

The JMW hotshop offers an unforgettable experience! With over two decades spent mastering freehand glassblowing, Jeremy and team transform raw matter into exquisite expressions. Their lighting and furniture is absolutely superb and not to be missed!

Gallery | Carpenters Workshop

Carpenters Workshop Gallery is a contemporary art gallery, focused on redefining the boundaries between art, sculpture and design. Vincenzo de Cotiis’ pieces are especially noteworthy, as well as Wendell Castle’s work. In particular, his sculptural bronze chair was absolutely stunning.

Shopping | Inoui Editions

We found this boutique near our stay in Odéon. Among all of their amazing offerings, their striking printed scarves stole the show. They can be worn, or even framed as a punchy piece of art (as shown here)
