At roughly 12,000 square feet, this new custom-built lakefront home on Geneva Lake was created to host a large family across seasons. Summer weekends on the water, holidays by the fire. But it needed to feel just as good when it was just the two homeowners and the lake.

Sophisticated and polished with a little hit of funk repeated throughout — a modified Ralph Lauren palette of darker wood tones, Bluette quartzite, and dark bronze, softened by chunky layered rugs, tactile upholstery, and light fixtures in unexpected finishes like ebonized oak and rope. It bridges the gap between a grounded lake house cottage and a home built for scale.
