London Design Week: What Caught Our Eye

London never disappoints. A few days there and we came home buzzing with ideas, sketches in our notebooks, and maybe a few too many photos on our phones.

Here’s what stood out most:

Chelsea Barracks: A Lesson in Refined Restraint

Two townhouses, layers of detail, and finishes that made us stop mid-conversation. Banda Property partnered with Studio Twenty Seven to furnish and style the homes at Chelsea Barracks, and the result was nothing short of stunning. We can’t share our own photos, but the professional shots say it all.

N°4 Mulberry Square

N°5 Whistler Square

House of ICON agt Shoreditch Town Hall

This showcase introduced us to a range of emerging designers, each with fresh takes on residential and hospitality design.

One standout? Counter stools by Shivangi Vasudeva—sleek, smart, and ready for a cocktail.

We met co-founder Nicholas Jeanes and got a deep dive into their collection.

The Horndean Occasional Table was a favorite—its resin and glass top catches the light the way water does. Gorgeous, unexpected, and memorable.

de Le Cuona

If you love textiles, this was heaven. Natural fibers, impeccable tailoring, and pillows with the kind of finishing details that make a space feel complete.

COX London

Cast bronze furniture that felt equal parts sculpture and utility. Every piece had presence—you just know they’d anchor a room instantly.

Carpenters Workshop Gallery

Always inspiring. The gallery was filled with aspirational pieces that blur the line between art and furniture. A reminder that sometimes function deserves to be as beautiful as form.

Our Takeaway…

London Design Week reminded us that the magic is always in the details. Whether it’s a bronze table leg or the edge of a linen pillow, it’s those quiet touches that make a home unforgettable!
